In this section you can find out more about WIAPS, with details of how to join plus you'll find details regarding the WaterSafe installers' Scheme - partnership between WIAPS and the other six Approved Contractors' Schemes in the UK helping to promote approved plumbing businesses.

WIAPS operates five approved membership sectors:

• Plumbers: Approved Plumbers can work on all parts of a plumbing system, from the external supply pipe right up to the kitchen and bathroom taps click here.

  
  

• Groundworkers: Approved Groundworkers can work on the supply pipe (the underground pipe) supplying your property, up to the internal stop valve click here.

  
  

• Catering Installers: Approved Catering Installers can install commercial kitchen equipment click here.

  
  

• Point of Use Installers: Approved Point of Use Installers can install cold water chillers connected directly to the mains click here.

  
  

• RPZ Valve Testers: Approved RPZ Valve Testers can commissioning and test RPZ backflow prevention valves click here.

There is also a new Education Sector which provides digital learning resources to students and lecturers.

By signing up to WIAPS, you are agreeing to abide by the general membership Terms and Conditions of the Scheme and make yourself available for audit. Below is a list of resources relating to WIAPS membership.
